Billy is a 24-year-old Haitian born Trenton based artist. Whose work provides an introspective look at the black experience utilizing manipulation of light through long exposure photography and low shutter speeds.

Billy captures the flow of movement while showing the stillness of the moment.  Whether its showing vibrant city lights filled with motion, while the surrounding buildings remain like mountains, or forcing the viewer to see the intimate truths of people’s everyday lives. Billy builds his narrative style of photography in documentary photojournalism, particularly highlighting issues of civil rights, poverty and the black immigrant experience. Bill Dumé is now part of a collective art group better known as OMN7 based out Trenton with glitch artist MICHEAL PAGE and photographer BRASS RABBIT.
